Phoning it in
Only one iPhone post on this blog. The way of the iPhone DJ....
Pedestrian-centric posters of Amsterdam.
Jarr Geerligs' Flickr Collection of Amsterdam Posters is an excellent document of recent posters dotting the city of Amsterdam. For those of us stuck in the car dominated USA blandscape of ad-man/corporate dictated design, it is heartening to see that someone out there gets it.
Tokyo Stimulus Maximus: Lester & Marxy
Shane Lester is one of the amazing folks behind WKTokyoLab. His blog also betrays an intellect and sensitivity to design work that is rare amongst foreigners working in Japan.
Marxy is a force to be reckoned with in communicating complex design and marketing ideas to those falling behind the sociolinguistic learning curve.
Imperfect Articles

Merging a clothing brand and site-less gallery, Imperfect Articles takes an experimental approach to curatorial practice with limited-edition, hand-dyed and hand screen-printed t-shirts. Imperfect Articles challenges the relationship between image, audience and "exhibition" space with a new model of distribution that highlights work by emerging and established artists alike, conflating concepts of fine art, design and fashion. New sustainable line from the electronics giant Sony. All human powered portable electronics. Does anyone have a link?
Music Map
Tidy little flash tool. Very telling. I remember "They Rule" By Future Farmers very similar concept.
iPhone Ad
Not real, but really well done and appropriate.
More than meets the eyes.
These are the type of guys that ace foundation year 3D in their sleep. Bonus points for using the theme song from the 1986 Transformers animated movie composed by the influential hair band Lion.
Erik Nitsche
Known for his work for General Dynamics. I have never seen much else he had done, pretty bonkers postcard above. flickr
William Wegman Early Videos
This is for all you dog lovers. He was a intense conceptual artist before the dog thing got a little soft. Ironic it is on youtube.
