Just a safety comment: since mac powercords tend to overheat and melt or catch fire, insulating them is a very bad idea. Not only will you keep heat from escaping, therefore heating the cord faster, but you will also be surrounding potential fire zones with flammable material. Very cute idea, but very unsafe!
