The Fine Art of Goofing Off

fineartof.jpg
Some time in the early 70's sound artist Henry Jacobs collaborated with animator Bob McClay to create a half-hour television program series called The Fine Art of Goofing Off for San Francisco public television station KQED. I know very little about the show other than these clips I found on YouTube a few months back (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3) but some have described the show as a sort of philosophical Sesame Street. I just found out that Important Records did release a collection of Jacobs work a few years ago, which seems to include a DVD with some clips from the series.
