    Pinball Publishing

    uploaded-file-74457

As a designer doing a lot of identity work for independent businesses, having a relationship with a solid printer is super-important. I highly and wholeheartedly recommend working with the kind folks at Pinball Publishing. Affordable pricing, eco-friendly (soy inks, recycled stocks), quick turnaround times, and amazing quality. They offer great deals on small-run spot color print jobs, do cd/dvd packaging that looks and works great, and do screen-printed posters, to boot. The folks that own and run Pinball are designers themselves, so they'll make sure typos and weird kerning doesn't go on-press.

They also make an awesome line of custom consumer goods called Tenth & Grant. Gridded notebooks, cards, and more featuring in-house design work, as well as illustration work from Carson Ellis (the Decemberists' cover artist) and others.
